The Large Resin Silicone Molds require approximately 40oz, 7oz, and 5oz of epoxy resin to fill them to capacity. It is recommended not to pour too much resin into the mold at one time, as excessive resin mixing can be problematic.

When using these molds with resin, it is important to note that while silicone is heat-resistant, using a torch is highly discouraged as the flame can damage the mold and compromise the bond between the silicone mold and the resin. Instead, it is advisable to pour the resin in small layers for deep pours, as this will prevent the resin from getting too hot.

For layers deeper than two inches, it is recommended to pour a layer, let the previous layer cool completely, and then pour the next layer. This is because the heat of the layers is additive, meaning that any heat from the first layer will contribute to the heat of the reaction in the next layer. By allowing the previous layer to fully cure before pouring the next, you will see a distinct line between the layers when looking at the side, but this is preferable to the risk of cracks when viewing the top of the project.
